• • Passenger Capsule Core: We build a fully enclosed, high-tensile ballistic steel cage inside the 4-door cabin. This covers the roof, floor, all primary structural pillars (A, B, and C), and front/rear vertical bulkheads. 
  • Advanced Ballistic Glass: The original windshield and side windows are replaced with multi-layered, optical-grade polycarbonate glass (up to 42mm thickness) designed to stop 7.62x51mm NATO assault rifle rounds. 
  • Door-Gap Defense System: Heavy-duty steel “bullet catchers” line all door frames. These overlap seals and hinges to ensure no straight-line projectile can penetrate cabin gaps. 
  • Blast-Proof Flooring: The lower cabin floor is lined with composite Kevlar and steel blast blankets engineered to absorb and deflect structural damage from two simultaneously detonated DM51 hand grenades. 

⚙️ Heavy-Duty Mechanical & Chassis Upgrades

• • GVW-Rated Suspension Package: To support the substantial added weight on the classic ladder-frame chassis, we completely overhaul the suspension. The factory setup is swapped for heavy-duty front coil springs, reinforced rear leaf springs, and long-travel off-road shocks.
  • Performance Braking System: We replace the stock brakes with heavy-duty slotted brake discs and high-friction calipers. This kit is specially calibrated to account for the truck’s mechanical weight bias and high payload.
  • Machined Door Hinges: Because the 79 Series features upright, heavy doors, we replace the factory assemblies with massive, custom-machined reinforced hinges anchored directly into the structural pillars.
  • Run-Flat Wheel System: Internal composite run-flat inserts are bolted directly onto heavy-duty 16″ or 17″ alloy rims, keeping the vehicle mobile for up to 50 km after a total tire blowout.

• • Front-End Utility Armor: High-strength plating protects everything behind the classic front grille, covering the radiator, battery, fuse box, main engine block, and ECU.
  • Powertrain Adaptation: Component protection is specifically tailored around the updated 2.8L 4-Cylinder Turbo Diesel or 4.0L V6 Petrol options.
  • Protected Fuel System: The oversized 130L fuel tank and critical fuel delivery lines are wrapped in an anti-shrapnel ballistic shield.
  • Anti-Sabotage Exhaust Mesh: A high-density stainless steel mesh guard is integrated into the tailpipe to block foreign debris or explosive objects from entering the exhaust line.
